IntentFlow is a personal project. This page explains, in plain language, what data the app handles and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email happybein1@gmail.com — that's also the fastest way to reach me directly.
Nothing leaves your device. Everything you enter — habits, weekly goals, events, calendar entries, plans, and links — is stored locally in your browser's storage, on your own phone or computer.
Settings → "Sync across devices" is off by default and requires you to actively choose to sign in. If you do, IntentFlow accesses your Google account email address and account ID via Google Sign-In — nothing else. IntentFlow never sees or stores your Google password, contacts, calendar, files, or any other Google data.
Your email address and account ID are used solely to identify your account and to let a copy of your habits, weekly goals, events, plans, and links follow you to your other devices signed in with the same Google account. That's the only purpose. IntentFlow does not use this data for advertising, to build a marketing profile, to sell to data brokers, or to train any AI or machine-learning model.
Your data is never sold. It's shared only with the two providers needed to run Sync itself: Google (for sign-in only) and Back4App, a database host currently based in the United States that stores the synced copy under its own Data Processing Addendum and does not use it for its own purposes.
Synced data travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and is stored in a database access-controlled to your own signed-in account only.
Local data stays on your device until you clear your browser storage or remove the app. Synced data is kept only as long as Sync stays on, and remains in the cloud database until you tap "Delete my synced backup" in Settings — which removes it immediately — or until you email me to request deletion.
IntentFlow isn't directed at children and isn't intended for anyone under 16.
If how the app handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
